Denver, CO Campus Information: Redstone College
One of the great benefits of attending Redstone College – Denver is that we offer lifetime alumni retraining*; including auditing a class you have already taken, attending an updated course, and learning about new, industry-relevant equipment and software. We offer small class sizes to give students the benefit of one on one time with the instructor. Also, our Career Development department offers lifetime job placement assistance. In 2006 we had major aviation companies visit our campus including Lockheed Martin, Duncan Aviation, SkyWest Airlines, and Rockwell Collins.
Also, there are a large variety of entertainment venues close to the Redstone campus. These include:
- Flatirons Mall, just two miles from campus.
- AMC movie theaters, within three miles of campus.
- Pearl Street Mall (outdoor walking mall and entertainment district) just seven miles from campus.
Standing Redstone campus events to enhance student life include:
- An active job database that has up to 650 employers. This is accessible to current students as well as Alumni.
- The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) holds up to four workshops on campus each year. The EAA hosts its largest workshop at the campus each year in September. This workshop offers up to six different courses.
- Each month, leading companies come to Redstone College to give presentations and interviews to the current student base.
- Redstone College averages up to six field trips a month in students' related fields.
- There are two program action meetings each year for every program offered.
Within 30 minutes of the Redstone campus students can enjoy:
- Several professional sports teams such as the Denver Nuggets, Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies and the Colorado Rapids
- Six Flags Elitch Gardens
- Water World
- Denver Museum of Nature & Science
- Boulder Reservoir
